Choose to study a Bachelor's programme at NMIT, and you can now study overseas on our newly established Student Exchange programme in your second or third year.
Whilst you are completing part of your degree at an NMIT partner university, you will only need to pay your normal NMIT tuition fees, and you will still receive your StudyLink loans and allowances.
So, why wait until after you’ve graduated to travel... broaden your horizons while studying!
*Unfortunately, Bachelor of Nursing, Paetahi Tumu Kōrero Bachelor of Counselling, Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor of Sport & Recreation students are unable to participate in the Student Exchange programme.
“The exchange is a great experience to develop yourself as both an academic and an individual. The skills you will gain, and the things you will learn about yourself will be invaluable.” – Monique Crawford, NMIT student on exchange in Germany, 2018.
Two of our third-year Bachelor of Commerce students spent a semester abroad in Germany in 2018 and are so glad they did. Read about their experiences.
